A special place that I remember well
from childhood days so long ago,
an upstairs space that drew me in by smell.
There often I would want to go
where pungent wafts of cedar pleased me so.
The walk-in closet in my mom's bedroom;
such happy times I spent in there,
in trying on her clothes among perfume
of cedar wood lined everywhere.
Sweet flashbacks, to this day- stirred by its air.
