A Special Gift

Your heart shines like the brightest star
Guiding others in the dark night
Offering a place to take flight
Spreading hope across miles so far

With all your words to spread your joy
Reached by all who choose to listen
To the way you make life glisten
A sacrifice, not to employ

Your purpose is shining and clear
A path so many can follow
Bringing us through tomorrow
All the while knowing peace is here

You help us to listen and hear
Clearly you have a special gift
To overcome pain and uplift
Showing never give into fear
