Written 4 June 2023 Placed 1st in : A Brian StrandPremiere No. 2022 A Speaking Mountain Created by the Supreme Lord to please ardent observing eyes, with shrubs and trees along my flank, I stand still staring at the sky. He who dares to wish my peak to reach, let him beware of sturdy thorns, let him heed nature`s rule not to breach, let him overcome my steep slopes. He who is lit by the flame of divine faith can reach my peak and with joy victory proclaim over the stiff maze of hurdles. He whose Faith can supple soul sprightly restore life to a sparkles with faith in the corpse, heal a severe Almighty can, with his wings deaf or a blind, give speech fly to the sky in a divine lee to settle. to a wild horse or an ox and guide mankind their rightful path in life to find.
