A Space Race

as plates migrate
some push and
scrape
some slip along slowly without making the ground shake

I wonder is there
a star inside the planet
a tiny portion of creation
only seen by imagination
at the near-center of
all we know
Mother Earth
some call her
a perfect 93 million miles from the Sun
a Moon helps
stabilize the tilt
to give seasons and tides that wash the shore
and more
all given
for someone to
find
protect and love
inside the Earth
may beat the heart of Creation
outside is
one Nation of nations in
an illusion they are distinct
wasting life
with destruction
abuse and hate

Potent and apt. Great read.
