A Soul's Fantasy

The warmth
of a summer dream
shines tenderly,
as
red petals of love
blanket a soul;
thawing
the bitter chill
about
her heart
and
revives this spirit
with
passion and love
before
she awakens.

this is really beautiful. Did you mean red petals, as in flower petals? I love that image.

This is lovely as a poem and for its positivity. You show well the change from sadness to joy. I'd like to see the look on her face when she awakens! // Love the avatar, too, Ana:) #7 // paul

Soft, beautiful, and so romantic. This makes me think of Sleeping Beauty waiting for her prince.
