A Soulless body

The tear doesn't ask the eye if it may drop, The wave doesn't ask the ocean when to break, The leaf doesn't ask the tree when to fall, The soul doesn't ask the body when to leave. You left me like a soulless body, wandering the world but buried within, You left me like an abandoned cave, hollow and haunted by your memories, You left me like an empty home, every corner whispering your name, You left me with a hope, wounded but unwilling to die.
