A Soulful Connection
A soulful connection
I feel as I stare at the North Star
Is that the big dipper?
I smile, knowing my girls can see it too
All they have to do is go outside
I release a sigh of gratitude
My central nervous system is calming down.
All is right with the world tonight.
The sky is beautiful, glittering with rhinestones.
The stars give me a feeling of peace and joy.
I taught them as children
We can never be apart
The sky will always unite us,
no matter how far they move away from me
The moon winks at me. I feel my children.
