A Son's Hideous Revenge

From his bizarre behavior and unkind words everyone
assumed he was a would-be psychopath seeking revenge;
he had no outside contacts, only conversations with his vicious mom
who daily sat in a squeaking Victorian rocking chair and scolded him.

" All friends with no morals have a bad influence on good souls,
keep away from them, avoid the whip when you break the rules. "
Mia preached to her frail son shaking and making strange, low sounds;
Charlie replied with a sob, " Yes, mother they can be horrible monsters."

" This Bible is a rod teaching discipline, it makes strong men fear God,
never think of molesting a virgin girl and leave her on a deserted road;
I've based this existence on obedience and trust in the Almighty God,
do the same and no harm will come to you: swear and keep your word."

Charlie nods while tears swell his light pupils, he wants to scream
 and let his anger out to release his pain, he clutches his smooth hands
and whispers, " I want to get married and have kids: lots of them;
Mia springs forth from the rocking chair howling, " They are no good girls. "

No words came from Charlie's trembling lips and did not dare to lash back,
" I'm going to sleep. " Her response was delightful. " Say your prayer, son. "
" Ok, I won't forget. " Charlie murmured plotting revenge later that week;
his freedom was restricted, his mental state wreaked havoc, his head spun.
