A SON’S FLASHBACK

A Son who almost died at birth
A Mother who didn’t seem concerned nor cry
It was like she didn’t care if the son lived or died
Chose not to raise me
Nothing but excuses, and everyone saw
A Mother was about enjoying life and having fun knowing she has a son to raise
Never no time
A son’s life wasn’t important
The son’s life from the start full of uncertainty
A Mother didn’t want anything to do with me
During the younger years, the son would cry in anguish
A Mother with no care in the world
Calls were not made
God bless my Grandparents
Uprising on target and fulfillment
The son’s life on track
Nurturing and care all fact
Aligned and Balanced

The son’s life shined like a sparkling stream
Wonder showed no doubt
Love surrounded the son, and that is what I am talking about
The Mother was incapable in raising
Sometimes the wonder became why?
With the why, one must give living a try
People were making all kinds of accusations of the son’s mother being a good Mother
But they didn’t know the story behind the commotion
The cup was full of frustrations, and emotions that had to be released
The son told the mother off in front of his grandmother
The mother asked her mother being the grandmother, “Aren’t you going to say something to your grandson in way he was talking”?
The grandmother responded, “Your son is telling you how he feels, and all you have to do is listen”

I was that son being a true story
I have no love for my mother as love was never expelled to me
I don’t hate my mother in any way being the way she treated me in my years
My mother often stated, she wanted a girl and not a boy
I was created for a purpose
Life isn’t always what you want or expect, but what the Heavenly father provides
I am thankful for my grandparents
I am the man I was meant to be
My frustration has been released, and is not eating me up
Stayed on course through my Grandparents teachings, and gained prosperity
Wisdom now my reality.
