A Sonnet To My Wife
A SONNET TO MY WIFE
Do you ever wonder why I do
The little things I do for you
It's because I love you, with a love that's true
A love no other can give to you
It's to keep a smile upon your face
And assure you no one can take your place
I love the way you wear your hair
The way you hold me whenever I'm there
I love the way you kiss my lips
The tender touch of your fingertips
So just remember, as you face each day
My love for you will always stay
Pure, unceasing – love without end
You're more than a lover – you're my best friend
