A Sonnet of Eternal Love

When morning breaks and paints the sky with gold, Your eyes outshine the dawn’s resplendent hue. No treasure vast nor tale of love retold Could rival all my heart has found in you. Each whispered word, a melody divine, Each touch, a spark that sets my soul ablaze. Your presence turns the simplest days to fine, And darkness fades beneath your gentle gaze. Though time may wear the fleeting world away, And seasons change the earth with tender grace, Our love, unyielding, shall not fall to sway, For in your heart, I’ve found my sacred place. So let the stars bear witness from above: Forevermore, I’ll hold you in my love.
