A Song To Sing
Birds whisper their songs,
Gliding across the silence,
Growing hope in the soul
Birds rise and rise and rise
Reassuring the spirit of life,
Stirring grace who lasts evermore
Birds croon and leave gentle joy
Beyond the shadows, before
Each hope brings us its glory
Birds, thriving, abiding, surviving
Tell their stories in crooning’s,
Gentlest voices, blessed, reassuring
Birds, in shades of blue, softest yellow
Brilliant red and glorious gray
Whisper through my spirit, warbling
Birds color the skies, the mountains
With their glorious light, still and graceful
Pouring hope through those who view them
Birds serenade the winds, the willows
With voices of light, soft and gentle,
Soothing music that resembles serenity.
Birds are as gentle as the falling rain,
Composing life in colors of praise,
Lifting their voices to the God who stays.
Birds serenade with a tender expression,
Blessing the moments from dawn til’ dusk,
Promising the heart there is always hope.
Birds, like the music that prepares for love
Stills the shadows and welcomes the light
Follows the spirit with music that comforts.
Birds pray for the healing, the joy, the faith
Bleeding across the waters of a rainy day,
Fulfilling the wisdom of a silence that portrays…
All the love that comes from hearing the way
Each song carries across the winds who praise,
Stilling the darkness and waking the grace.
Birds are at the heart of a healing journey
They give the soul its comfort and soothing,
Preparing the spirit to accept God’s truth…
Wherever there is life, there is hope
Wherever there is love there is peace
Wherever there is a bird, there is a song to sing!
