A Song of Survival

by evening, in front of my room where I am writing poems Cat, cat with nowhere to go tried every days thanks to the warm last winter Cat, lost weight, hair fell out lose dignity as a cat when the night comes Hungry, cat will groans if a cat cries someone secretly brought next to an open food can Cat approaches with their characteristic gait Screaming sounds rushing right away drowned in the sound of cars When a very deep night comes a cat will sob again Loneliness, not hunger no, will sing.
