A Song of Sparrows

Here lies the whistling hollowed bones of lovebirds
Entrenched in storm torn skylines
Set flight amidst torrents
Breaking body and soul
Failing to find the fervent love in them in others

Skaidiv, I read your poem which you entered in my contest and found it a very nice work. Thank you for sharing it with me and others. It did not have the quote number on it that I needed to know from which quote you were going to write your poem.Keep on writing... Sara

Thanks again, this one just past experience, the classic "a bird and a fish may fall in love but where would they stay?" except it's just two birds (in my view)
