A Song of Self, Unbound
Not tethered to a soul, I walk alone,
A captain on this course, my heart my own.
No master's hand directs my wandering feet,
My path unfolds, a tapestry complete.
My essence blooms, a garden wild and bright,
Unburdened by the rules of borrowed light.
My worth is defined by choices, not by name,
A symphony of self, a burning flame.
With a steady hand, I build my fortress strong,
Boundaries set where truths and rights belong.
No voice intrudes, no whispers dim my core,
My spirit soars, forevermore.
The well of strength resides within my breast,
From failures learned, from lessons put to the test.
I rise empowered, wings unfurled and bold,
My story penned, in ink of purest gold.
Though shadows fall, and doubt may hold me fast,
I'll nurture growth, and make the present last.
Embrace the change, the whispers of the breeze,
This journey is mine, through rustling leaves and seas.
No longer seeking solace in another's gaze,
My validation was earned, through self-made days.
For happiness, a seed within I sow,
And watch it bloom, where only my heart can grow.
This life, a canvas vast and ever-wide,
I paint my dreams, with colours deep inside.
A chorus sung, a melody unbound,
In this grand symphony, my voice resounds.
So let them whisper, let them judge in vain,
My spirit soars, above the pouring rain.
I stand alone, yet never truly so,
For in myself, a universe doth grow.
