A Song For Strangers

dear stranger look at us, walking side-by-side like best friends if i reached out and took your hand would you play lover with me? dear stranger where are you from? where are you going? why are you here now? i want you to tell me. dear stranger i wish i could talk to you i can't find the words, i never can but, dear stranger, i love you i don't care if you've done something terrible. i've done terrible things too. i still love you dear stranger it is my vice, my fatal flaw to always fall for strangers the people who i've loved wander in and out of my life like shooting stars like the wind like summer storms i still love you.
