A Solstice Long Day
Oh song of my heart, whisper a light tune,
And sip the calm glow of a summer June,
Breaths of May I rode on Cupid's arrow,
A sojourn pass, of a wayward sparrow,
The remnants of me felt a winds girth,
Anointed me a bastion of pure mirth,
I lived a day of passion, night of bliss,
A pleasured time that I was naught amiss,
I took a course that was rightfully mines,
No foreboding trails or capricious signs,
'Twas from my own heart that led me justly,
I chased, unwaveringly, and closely,
Oh song of my heart, whisper a light tune,
And sip the calm glow of a summer June.
