A Solid Foundation

life is but a mystery you see
inside of both you & me
we can humbly come to agree
you need a solid foundation
not a one stop shopping event
at your local seven eleven
God alone is enough
when your whole world is crumbling apart
he will light that inner spark
to where you need to go
bury me deep from hands to my feet
unleash bust up the beat to increase the tempo
don't build on the sand you understand
the rain will come to wash it all away
build instead on the rock a solid foundation
storms of life will either make you or break you
but they are truly apart of you
maybe bitten off far more then you can ever chew
saturate me with truth
in order to withstand the truest test of time
go to the outcast & the blind
widows & orphans
