The very first image I recall in my youth Was momma a-rockin' as her contentment oozed In spite of the hardships During the thirties starkness She always sang quietly remaining aloof

In her squeaky rocking chair//Momma combed young Jackie's (Kenny?) hair//sent him off to play//until his hair turned grey//he's still playing over there. ROCK ON JACQUESOIN!!!

What a great memory of your mother, a soft and gentle memory that will be forever long lasting! I hope you keep that memory as long as you live so you can feel the peace of that moment! What a beautiful poem about this, Great Work my friend!!
