A Snowy Winter Morning

looking out the window, seeing the snowflakes falling down quickly covering the cold and frozen ground I see the postman scurry up to my neighbor's front door delivering his daily load hurrying to finish his tour the children on their way to school stopping to make snowballs laughing, falling and pelting each other simply having a ball the birds leaving their nests looking for a quick meal a squirrel rushing up a tree with the acorn he did steal a snowy winter morning a good day for a sleigh ride but It's so warm in here I think I'll stay inside
