Very nice, Gert! The certainty of spring coming is wondrous. Nice Tanka. Thanks for sharing and thank you for your comments on mine. I hope you have recovered from the flu. Best wishes, Caroline.

You are making me hungry!! I will have to try your recipes--I make something similar to the potato soup-my grandmother called it stewed potatoes not soup but sounds the same--good!!

We finally got a touch of spring this week...but it still feels chilly like a snowy day in March! Spring is on the horizon, won't be long now!! (I hope!) Nicely written, Gert! ~ Love, Carrie

It all seems like fantasy right now but it is slowly happening then it will seem like it is a great flourish...Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for stopping by and commenting in my work. Sara

Quite an image is created in the first three lines of your tanka, Gert. And I love the way you drove home your message in the last two. Excellent tanka! Love, Carolyn

Gert, I really like this one. IN line four there, did you mean the word "of" man? Thanks for your sweet comments. Usually when I put a sonnet in a contest, it does not fare very well. I think sonnets are not much liked here, but I appreciate what you said about mine and the people who seem to be liking it. LUv, Andrea
