A Smiling Rainbow

Autumn rains fell gently there
Pearls danced before our eyes
In perfect time in verse and rhyme
Played games in full disguise
All the clouds sang in chorus
Clapping loudly their applause
In concert they all played for us
Joining in for just our cause
You so freely gave your smile
And me knowing all the while
Fate brought you for me to know
That we should meet upon this day
To paint a smiling rainbow
Then chase the clouds away
