A Smile On My Face

A smile on my face
But tears held back
Inside of me
Sadness attacks.

A happy façade
But unhappy sigh
Everyone says
Big girls don’t cry

So I put on my smile
And hold in the tears
That’s how it’s been
Throughout all the years
