A Smile
It brightens up one’s day smile will keep
you are healthy and happy
A smile will get you going
Awoke with a smile on her face,
A praise in her heart
Thanking him for all he has done
for us and for what is to come
She was reminded of what lied
Ahead of her that day
As she began to prepare her mind, body, and soul
For her journey ahead
Stopping by her daughters’ room to
Give her some instruction before
She left for the day’s activities.
