Line Gauthier Poet Free verse

A smidge short of arrogance?

He has you sit there and wait ~
it's not the first time,
it won't be the last.

You know and accept it ~
those many ways he lets you know
his time's infinitely more valuable.

In the meantime you sit there patiently.
