A Small Gift From God

She was so cute
the baby lizard
who came into my house
to find some bugs

So tiny, I feared
she would get caught
under my computer chair
Oh no!

I gently caught her
returning her to God
and her brothers and sisters
who play in my garden

She is where she belongs now.

You sound just like me, I am a sucker for the animal kingdom and would have done the very same thing. :) Beautifully written poem of kindness, love Kristin

How lovely! Instead of saying Eeeeek! You embraced this poor little creature and gave it back to it's rightful place. Sweet poem....Fondly, Carrie
