A Sloth

He is a sloth in the community
The one created to be a mockery
A creature of shame and shock
But this seems to move him not

Whenever he looks at self in a mirror
He minds not ratings in community
The ugly look he wears on his back
And the reactions matter less to him

He often attacks the mirror violently
And cuts his face without thought
Probably to divert public attention
Away from the ecology of scandals

Sloth thinks the public matters not
Perhaps it’s too lazy to raise eyes up
