A Single Valentine's Day

To the one I cannot say, For I still don’t know your name. The day for love and flowers, Is almost going to rise. Yet I will not receive roses, I will not get to watch them die. My pumping heart is empty, And for that I must say, I would meet you today, If I could have my way. It beats for the one that’s far away, For I still don’t know your name. Candy and cards will be given, But for you I will not pay. I will wait again for your arrival, During this valentine’s day, For I still don’t know your name.
