A Single Prayer
A young boy living out in the streets
With no family and no food to eat.
A single prayer can change his life.
Theres a girl tonite crying out her eyes,
Shes 6 months pregnant,17 and no life-
A single prayer can change her hife.
Sitting alone in his cell room, a father of 4 in prison,
Wishing he had his family.
A single prayer can change his life.
Crying in her kitchen she looks at her youngest sons photo,
A mother mourns for her loss, someone took her babies soul.
A single prayer can change her life.
A brother and sister sit in the hospital waiting room,
A drunk driver hit their parents on their way home.
A single prayer can change their life.
Sometimes we go through trials,
Sometimes we face hard times.
But when we get on our knees and pray-
God hears our every cry.
Just remember prayer is powerful
And God can fix all our problems.
So when someone is in need of prayer-
Just call on God and he will be there to help them.
