A Simple Rhyme For My Love

I write this poem for you today
There are some things I need to say

With you I always want to play
To dance and sing and shout ole!

To never wander far away
Each need and wish I will obey

My love will never be halfway
Nor shall it wither and decay

Your love and trust I’ll not betray
By your side I shall always stay

My love for you I must display
It shall no longer brook delay

This poem for you is my bouquet
In your heart forever to lay
