A Silver Hammock
As the sky blushes with sweetness
With the sun quickly slipping down
On the horizon I see grey clouds
Approaching with a frown!
The silhouette of bearers of the moon I see
Warriors of the sky who carry me tenderly
Playing hide and seek with the stars
Little sliver of a rocking moon sailing far
Through eyelids like a crescent moon, closing in
Please come a little closer moon and
keep me company
While I rock in a hammock of your silver light
Carrying me through the echoes of these
dreamy hours!
