A Silent Symphony

On a dark, clear night I like to escape the city, to gaze at the tens of thousands of stars; and bedazzle my eyes with unfathomable beauty, oh, there is a whole universe above us. I am filled with a sense of great wonder and awe, the constellations and stars are like familiar friends; I would like to swing on the Big Dipper, and float amongst the star clusters and galaxies. Far from the city's sprawling lights and pollution, a silent symphony is playing of elegant design; oh, to voyage beyond this earthly realm, into the night sky and beyond. __________________________ April 16, 2017 Verse/A Silent Symphony Copyright Protected, ID 892918 Stargazing White Wolf

What an enchantingly beautiful piece of writing that brings a sense of peace and serenity to the reader. Indeed, there is a silent symphony playing in the night skies that not only soothes but opens the mind to endless possibilities. Really nicely done my friend. Good luck in the contest

It is wonderful to see that you describe your appreciation for the forces in the universe and the display that can only dazzle us. Some of us have lost contact with these things unfortunately. Light pollution is not a good thing. You are a true traveler among the stars and clusters as your mind can take you anywhere. It's a beautiful thing.

Duke, outside the city the sky is so amazing but inside it is just haze, thanks for the lovely comment.
