A Silent Symphony
On a dark, clear night I like to escape the city,
to gaze at the tens of thousands of stars;
and bedazzle my eyes with unfathomable beauty,
oh, there is a whole universe above us.
I am filled with a sense of great wonder and awe,
the constellations and stars are like familiar friends;
I would like to swing on the Big Dipper,
and float amongst the star clusters and galaxies.
Far from the city's sprawling lights and pollution,
a silent symphony is playing of elegant design;
oh, to voyage beyond this earthly realm,
into the night sky and beyond.
