A Silent Prayer
My clan was caged in here
Before the rising sun
No ears to hear our plea
Our dreams like weathered grains
Our soundless whistles though
Forsaken is our voice
For hope we had long lost
The birds have flown away
The chimney doors are closed
Our only comforter
The birds I pray to thee
To come and take our voice
And fly away so far
Then spread our voice and say
Our bones have turn to dust
Revive our weary hearts
Look at us with ease
And take us all along
