A Shower of Sighs
I rain with sighs delirious
and smile a storm of a smile
as the sparks off thoughts of minds of candor
bake me with fuelable fire
The room where we stand
is just mist in our hands
and the sky pours in through the ceiling
Light swords in blue
and the sea pours in too
just to drown us in all that we're feeling
I'm sure that I blink
but then I start to think
that maybe time slams to a halt
There's never enough
when you're young and in love
and you're at least eleven feet tall
I sigh a storm of a sigh
and pause to hear myself breathe
This life is the color and taste and the sound
of the wind blowing lint through the trees.
