A Shout Into the Void
A gift has been granted, it’s path clearly shown.
An endowment of life, borrowed, not owned.
Our path has three parts with a beginning and end.
In the middle is the void, it’s where all truth can bend.
The beginning path is easy, it forms when we’re born.
It’s a path meant for children, before sails get torn.
The last is for those who’ve stayed true till their death.
The end is amazing, so take a deep breath!
The second part is tricky, it has trails that branch off.
You may hear people shout, mostly just scoff.
Here demons are fought, you might feel all alone.
Stay true to your path, it will lead you home.
When your childhood is over, part two you will take.
When you look down each trail, you will see that they’re fake.
When you shout at the void, deaf ears will be found.
Beware of the screams that render no sound.
