A SHORT WINTER'S STORY

The beauty of winter. 
Cotton from cold heaven,
softly falls as snow 
to quiet anxious thoughts.   

Sleep is warmly restful,
from days of peaceful -
watching, armchair dreaming, nodding.
Quality time for sharing.

Thanks for cozy fires:
love, cuddling, bundling, baking. 
Praying for the homeless,
boundless, snow drenched wanderers 

Beauty of the storm,
fury. - Oh, so strong!
Rage moves soon along.
Life keeps rolling on.

The winter is beautiful when I can enjoy the sight from my window inside the house as compared to on the roads. Yes, praying for the homeless! Congratulations to 2nd place winner of my contest.
