A Short Prayer
Dear god i come to you today
praying that you will always provide
praying that you will be my shield and strength
praying along the way you will be my guide
Temptation will come along the way
but that's just the work of the devil
lord i will forever serve you
and i will never stoop to his level
lord i put my trust and faith in you
with you i can never fail
you have carried me through the worst
especially when my back was against the rail
countless blessings you have bestowed upon me
some of which i can never forget
some didn't turn out so great
but yet i am happy and have no regret
lord you are great in many ways
and lord i put no one before you
you always help me with my problems
when no one else seem to have a clue
lord you make me feel loved
lord i must say you are my best friend
lord thanks for all the love and care
i thank you so much, bye and amen!!!!!!!
