A Secret Hell

a little girl should never know
the pain and sorrow that would grow
inside her fragile heart and mind
but it happens all the time
when shes put in a situation
by her brothers molestation
at first she doesn't realize
this kind of love is only lies
that can hurt her easily
both physically and mentally
so she doesn't say a word
and lets him do his very worst
praying that tonight it's over
ending her nightmare and torture
the hellish nights are now much longer
as her brothers getting stronger
and she's only getting weaker
with every minute that he keeps her
scared to death never to tell
about this secret life of hell

wow! Robin, the words are deep. Lots of rawness in the imagery, thanks for allowing the reader to feel what people are capable of, when holding back the hurt and the living in a secret of hell... this is a good job. thank you for the comment on my older poem... Linda

Indeed and it happens to little boys to. It takes the beauty out of sex; And when its gone it doesn't come back again. It is a high crime against nature to damage a chids soul.

I literally could feel the suffocation that the girl is experiencing. It's devastating yet captures crimes that occur unseen day by day
