A Secret

Shhhhhh!!!!!
Can you keep a secret
If I told you, would you tell
Or would you hold it
With your mouth
Could you control it
Would you could you
Seal it and never open
I don't want to relive that moment
Rather leave it unspoken
If you had a token or that heart
Would you keep it a secret, so you wouldn't tear it apart
I trust you to do what you say you're going to do
And that's keep it
I don't want you to reveal secrets
For we all have them
Some we are proud of
Some we are not
Some secrets we want to be forgot
And even if we can't forget
Don't share secrets you'll regret
Sometimes we need to vent
Don't share things that will make you resent on another
Some secrets are meant to be kept ,to yourself
No matter how much you want to
Can't tell no one else
Please promise you'll keep it
I mean a secret

I won't say a word! Good description of a secret without spilling the beans, as they say. Have a great day, Concetta. Bill Baker
