A Second In Time

A second in time

A love story that never started
Two lovers met then soon departed
A moon so full but cloud cover charted
A dream of you yet never will open for I am broken hearted
A candle burned but the light was always guarded
A vision of you for a second left my world enchanted
It would have been so sublime just to kiss your lips before we parted
In love with you but listened not then the grapes grew dry and the fruit I wasted
discarded
