A Second

A Second

It starts with a feeling
Born, God knows where,
and spreads rapidly
As an energy that can not be stopped
And then I close my eyes.

I welcome the air that fills my lungs
that blends into my being
And I realize that this is the same air that you breathe
So, as if it were my last,
I hold my breath, to keep you with me

A second
Where I imagine
your love

Pure Happiness

Then I open my eyes
And this second ends

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
