A Season So Mild and Fair

How does one know for sure that spring has finally arrived...
by the aromatic perfume that fills the warm air,
or by the cheerful melody of a bird not being recognized?
So why doesn't anyone step out and wander
freely on paths to meditate a season so mild and fair?

I love springtime. I love going for walks and taking in the fresh air. The sights and sounds of spring can be invigorating!

Staying indoors on a splendid spring day is not for me, Andrew. The "perfume" and the melodious tunes of birds make me want bask in nature's beauty. Beautiful poem for Francine's contest. Consider me "wowed"! Love, Carolyn
