A Scarlet Heart
highs and lows of a loved that glowed
the ins and outs of what I know
darkness and light, day to night
candles extinguished that once burned bright
open my lips and speak the words
I love you floats and is not heard
but it was here for you to see
a scarlet heart worn on my sleeve
