A Sacred Kind of Love

A sacred love Is one that's pure A mirroring union of heart and mind Never still but growing To endure One flesh until death Two half's making a whole Sharing trust and caring Giving listening Patience and tolerance Hear and soul baring. Putting the other first Making them happy Providing a listening ear and shoulder To cry on when it hurts Accepting each others faults By reflecting on our own Building bridges to understanding And having some time and space alone. Sharing interests together Up building each other making each other And making each other strong Courting should never end That's why many relationships Dwindle and go so wrong. Love maybe for others But sadly not for me My dreams of romance never came true And I'm not the man I hoped I'd be But I still dream It's all I have. Peter Dome.Copyright.2015.June.
