A Royal Reverie

A ROYAL REVERIE

A brook of beauty
Liquid
Flowing gently
Rippling
Calming
Cascading over rocks a billion years old
Well rested
Relaxing
As an old oak tree spoke to a weeping willow ‘twas heard to say
“weep not my rooted friend
For we all must meet our end”
The storms
The frozen Friday afternoons
And the heavy humid and horrid heat
Just relish in the fact that you live aside a brook of beauty
That will ever flow with liquidity downstream………………………….
ALAS, It was only a dream
