A Rose-Bud Breeze

I think of you.. An instant swirl of a rose-bud breeze descending between silence and sleep. My one and only night- time companion. At last,we're no longer strangers I know you! I found you! I have you! Fresh manna casacading on a slothful pillow The sweetest contentment released . A flutter of butterflies in sync with my heart's Du-dum,Du-dum,drumming beat . Yet,words, words fail me, Pink lips are sealed. Low voice can't utter soft ardent whispers nor gentle echoes can return back to recall this beauty I see. My pen can't scribble the name of the flame where fire desires to be Each line is too faint, Each verse is too bleak, too bleak to describe you, and the hundred emotions which you make me feel.

Your words paint a delightful and serene scene. With all the giddiness of a first love. (wonder what type of music inspired this?) ... as a side note: I enjoyed your manna line, however, I couldn't figure out anywhere online what "sloughtful" means?

Your words indeed express what the imagination conjures in lack of your being able to describe what you feel. This is beautiful Charmaine and is going into my Faves! I can relate. xxoo

Not being able to express what lies within, to liberate those mixed emotions is sad, Charm...and yet it's compensated by the knowledge that love is there, waiting to be fulfilled. ~ A pleasure to have you posting again, my friend. Best regards // paul
