A Rose That Grew From Concrete

Circumstances folded my heart Breaking almost every part of me The part that was left I felt would also dissipate I picked up my pen and Looked at the hearts of men! Through courage and strength I endured I realized that no male or female should ever give up I am the rose that grew from concrete The composition of my life Understood the elements of conformity Through a brave decision I gave up a love that became concrete But with tenacity and flexibility I found unity in my life echoing A belief that could grow through anything Because some humans represent roses that grow through concrete!
