A Rose
A red rose whispers of enchantment
And the white rose reveals the depth of love
O, the red rose is like that of a falcon,
And the white rose is symbolic of the dove.
But I send you a cream-white rosebud
With a flush on its petal tips;
For our love that is purest and sweetest
Has a kiss of desire on our lips.
