A Rose

A seed is planted in the ground The rain falling and the sun shining down It won’t be long now She grows as each day goes by Soon she will reach the sky One bright morning she stretches Her pink petals open wide They catch everybody eyes She embraces them with her beauty Brings a smile to their face As the day goes on she stays strong But soon she must go The sun goes down and the moon comes up Her petals wither away She did her part while she was here Forever we will hold dear So much we have learned from the beauty of a Rose In Loving Memory of Gruma Rose
