A Romantic Valentine
Crimson desire often keeps knitting a dream
I sail in an Egyptian boat in a blue river
Warm my breath with the woolen heat of the steam
From the buds while in a blooming rose you shiver
An insane day when I would look for the cue
And hold your heartbeat in my violin embrace
Pouring all my violet in the umbrella for you
And sit with the shadow beside your furnace
You know but for the rainbow clouds of your gardenia
The lyrics of my life wouldn't have been penned
A milky way peace from the skies of Assyria
Would not have descended with many a bend
Look at the roses tonight in the bouquet of time
Together let's enter the scarlet doors of our desire
Let me remind you will always be my valentine
Let's play our sitar and quench the orange fire
Look at the gondola into the doors ajar
The pink gladioli arriving in the sitar
For a brief poetry here we are campers
Come, let's fill our valentine reservoir
